CHAPTER ONE “Wake up sleepyhead” “Owww go away it’s Saturday” “no Posy it’s Friday…well day for Moroi night for humans…get up before a guardian comes in and drags you out of here” I rolled over on my bed only to promptly fall. “owww darn it to the hellmouth and back!” I moaned and stood up quietly trying to get my head to stop pounding. “I regret not drinking coffee last night/morning whatever” I looked up only to see Adrian Ivashkov surprisingly sober, that wasn’t good. That either meant something had happened or something was about to happen. “Adrian, uh…far be it from me to meddle but what’s going on? Its too late/early for you to be up ehre and I already know you didn’t come here to see me” Adrian laughed. “no, I am waking you up because the guardians are having a fit…you should be down there” That woke me up completely if the guardians were having a fit there were two reasons on why, either there were Strogoi attacks about to happen or it had already happened. I threw on my tank top and jeans not too appropriate for weather and not really matching either and blinked up at him. “Adrian you got about five seconds to tell me what the hell happened” So he spilled it all out right then and there. The story went like this, Sora Dragomire the VERY last of the Dragomire line had been coming to St. Vlad’s from North Carolina after her guardians had both died fighting Strogoi, she had come nearly to this school when she had been ambushed right outside the gates and there had been too many strogoi apparently to stop the kidnapping in progress. “That’s accessory to murder if something happens to her, why the hell are the guardians just standing er…sitting on their asses, aren’t they gonna do something?” Adrian shook his head. “They are but by the time they agree on a plan it’ll be too late” Something clicked in my head when he gave me a confident grin, he had a plan. He wanted me to go and rescue her, without the guardians and without backup. “uh no not without back up you will have backup trust me…that backup will come in the form of two spirit users, one fire user, and two butt kicking guardians, any questions?” I understood that too, Rose, Dimitri, Lissa, Christian and Adrian were coming. I looked up. “I’m in” I turned around grabbed my silver stake and left with him off to find the others, off on this suicide mission.

CHAPTER TWO So, before I keep going anymore about this little suicide fest and what went down, I’ll put some introduction down I guess. For those of you who haven’t figured it out, my name is Posy, Josephine. I haven’t used my last name in so long I can’t even start to remember what that is pathetic right? Moving on. I am a twenty year old guardian at St. Vlad’s the oldest they’ve got, why I didn’t graduate you ask? Simple. Because I’ve got a secret and that secret makes it so hard for me to do my job. While I am a supposed guardian, I really am a Moroi. A spirit user born to parents I can’t even begin to remember. I ran away from home when I was about five and the academy found me, taking me in. They think it’s cause of my behavior problems that they’re keeping me, WRONG. They are keeping me really cause of my inability to function with high emotions. My powers, one of the aspects of Spirit is that I can feel emotions but unfortunately, no one knows that why? Because I have been keeping my species a secret since five which is screwing both with my powers and the mind. To everyone, I am an out of control guardian wannabe who has a short fuse and shouldn’t really be trusted. To my closest allies say for example Rose and Lissa, I am a dedicated guardian and friend. Adrian Ivashkov as cocky as he is had volunteered to stay with me while the others went off to the royal court to do whatever royals did whenever they graduate St. Vlad’s and I’m grateful. Anyway, enough on about me. “Posy are you with us?” I looked up to feel a gentle hand on me, I whipped around with my stake only to realize it was Guardian Beleikov, Dimitri. “oh yeah…fine…swear it” I muttered looking away. “Right and I’m father Christmas” Adrian said coming towards me from the other side. “You can’t save anyone if you’re not focused we can wait as long as we need….” I cut him off. “no we can’t we don’t have that luxery…we have a Moroi to save, you know the laws, they come first” “You are a Moroi and you wont claim it, according to you your parents were holiter then thou so they should have died” Adrian shot at me. I lost my temper with him mind you, I wasn’t a very calm person to begin with, well not as long as there were others around me who was going out of whack. “Don’t you dare turn this on me, turn this on the damned guardians who won’t do crap to protect a princess who could be goddess only knows where” “Yes and you cannot help her if you are out of it, Posy, hear me!” He tried to grip me I back handed him sending him sprawling on the floor. Before Adrian could use his powers to force me to calm, Rose got in the middle. “We don’t have time for this crap, lets go before someone finds out what the hell we’re up to” So that was the end of that. With Rose dragging me, I ran not speaking to anyone else until I reached our destination of the caves. I knew this place well, two years ago when the school had been attacked and the wards had broken down, there had been a battle here, I had fought in it unknown to anyone else except Dmitri but then afterwards he hadn’t had time to tell another soul due to the fact that he had temporarily turned Strogoi. “I…she’s nearby…I sense her aura” I sensed it too although aura seeing wasn’t a specialty of mine. I also sensed Strogoi, more then I could count. Dimitri got us all together. “Christian you take Lissa and be on the defense, Posy you go with Adrian and make sure that you keep them from attacking her, and block their exits out if you can, as for me and Rose…we’ll go attack them straight on” I sighed, I didn’t like taking orders so, at the first sight of a Strogoi, I went for him using my stake to plunge into his heart killing him. I had taken him by surprise but the others had noticed us, crap I always had the habit of starting things like this which was why no one really wanted to tell me what to do as soon as they did that I went on complete opposite. As Adrian burned another to a crispy crisp, I whipped around pulling Adrian to duck just avoiding the fangs of a Strogoi I sat on Adrian forcing him to fall to the floor and eat dirt. But I thought it a better idea he eat dirt rather then me having to explain to Lady Ivashkov why her son was among the soulless Strogoi. I pushed Adrian towards Dmitri. “Make him useful!” I ran because I realized that they were concerned with fighting the Strogoi yes but they were not worried about their first objective, the princess. I ran dodging the undead fiends until I heard a soft whimper. I ran towards where I heard the noise, yes Moroi could not hear as well as guardians could but I sensed the pain that was what drew me. I looked up to see the royal who must have been Sora. She looked stunning. With short black hair, pale skin and twinkling eyes, she looked more or less like America’s Next Top Model. I looked up to realize that she couldn’t walk, she had sprained herself. “I got you” I said gently as I scooped her up making her lean on me. Now, I was a royal meaning I didn’t have the strength of a guardian normally but seeing as how I had trained for years and years and years I managed plus, believe me when I swear to you that she was light as a feather. “I…they just…” “Not now!” I said. “Save your energy, and remember I still gatta get back with you in one piece”

CHAPTER THREE “You took three royals and went on a suicide mission, you didn’t wait for backup, you didn’t ask permission and you somehow managed to drag the queen and her guardians out of the royal court, Posy what on earth are we going to do with you, you’re reckless!” That was the first thing I heard when I blinked again. After bringing Princess Sora back to St. Vlad’s it was needless to say that I was tired, warn out and well, more tired. I was getting yelled at, again, not that I didn’t get yelled at every day. “You threw Lord Ivashkov?” I lost my temper right then and there I loved Alberta Petrov, the Captain of the guardians to pieces, I did. But, she needed to stop talking before I threw something. As the Captain of the guardians it gave her the rights more or less but without my nightly coffee and morning coffee I really was not in the mood. “A piece of advice Alberta, CAN IT! I’d rather have him eat dirt then turn Strogoi wouldn’t you?” She couldn’t say anything to that. “There you are now yes I was reckless but I had no time to think, you guys weren’t moving fast enough so that’s about it end of story goodbye the end. Any questions?” Now, this mission had not been my idea but I knew better then to let the others get in trouble. Of course Dmitri and Rose and Lissa hell, even Christian and Adrian might all say it was each of their ideas but I normally was the one taking the blame for these things not because they wanted me to but because I wanted me to. I could be convincing too, and I was the likely person to have started this whole mess too seeing as how I normally liked to act now and think later. The door opened and Lissa came in with Rose with Jill (I still can’t prounce her last name). I tried to get up out of my bed to bow, it was the custom after all she was our queen. But before I could she came over, hugged me and put in my hands a cold iced coffee from WaWa. “Goddess bless you” I whispered as I took it and drank it. Lissa looked up at Alberta and spoke to her firmly not that she was yelling. Lissa had the habit of making people do what she wanted not with compulsion but the way she spoke had something to do with it. “I think she’s been through enough Alberta, can’t you leave her be?” What could Alberta say to that no? I didn’t think so. So it didn’t surprise me at all when she just gave me a glare and left. Leaving Rose, Lissa, Dmitri and I in the room. I was surprised Christian hadn’t come in. “Where’s Lord Ozera?” I asked Rose spit out the bit of her iced tea she was drinking when I said Lord Ozera and Lissa smiled. “Sora, he just put the stuff in her room, as we are rebuilding court and its not fit for human habitation….she decided to come here and stay awhile….you were fantastic, see I knew there was a reason Adrian suggested to bring you, not that I wouldn’t have recommended you come too but….you were sleeping” I shook my head. “You come first remember Lissa?” “Technically so do you” I changed the topic. The technical royalty heritage was the last thing on my mind. I hadn’t claimed it in so long as I’ve said before that I even forgot which family I belonged to although if I thought about it hard enough it’ll come to me. So for the next half hour all of us went from talking to not talking sometimes bits and pieces about the royal world and how it was changing, sometimes about the humans and how they were valuable and sometimes just sat in silence until I heard a knock. Christian came in with Adrian they stood more or less like guardians on the either side of Princess Sora who had a long skirt on as most royals liked to do and she did look pretty in them. I smiled at them all hugging the guys in turn and bowing slightly to the princess. I saw a feeder that I recognized from school. I never fed directly from one for obvious reasons but I had bottled blood disguised as bottled water so that was fine. It was not only until she moved so that she was sitting on the bed that we figured out what she’d brought with her, first thing was a cat in a bad, literally. The next thing was a trey of food that was floating above our heads. How did we miss that? I looked up. “tell me that’s food floating?” I said never having seen it before. The Dragomire sisters both laughed and smiled at me. I found myself blushing even in spite of everything. “Well, after that little fight, I thought you’d need energy….I brought food for our guardians and Moroi too” Now this was going to be a problem. My insides weren’t made like a normal dhampire no matter how much I liked to fool the others I couldn’t fool my body. I got out the bottle of water insisting I wasn’t hungry. “You should eat something, you did half the job” the princess pointed out quietly. I looked around at everyone around me. “no, we all did…we always have even though I haven’t received my promise mark” Sora gave me an encouraging smile. “I’m sure you will graduate soon guardian Posy…I heard them talking about you, the rest of the guardians I mean as much as your Captain was yelling at you…I really do think they liked what they heard from your allies” Now that made me fall off my bed.

Chapter Four Ya know , keep going like that you’ll be ending up in the hospital” Adrian half joking helped me up from the shock. “Excuse me please Adrian repeat that again….make sure I heard the princess right” “are you deaf or hard of hearing?” Christian looked half exasperated. “The guardians are finally talking about letting you graduate which they should have done ages and ages and ages ago but no one listens to an Ozera so I left them all to their own damned devices” “They still wish you wouldn’t have dragged Lissa, Rose and Dimitri out of royal court” “um newsflash, I did jack” “You feel up to telling the guardians that you’re really not a guardian they’ll REALLY lock you up somewhere” I turned and flipped back over grabbing Christian “Don’t piss off a guardian who’s also a Moroi” “Don’t piss off someone who can tell this little secret to the whole Moroi government blowing your little cover you’ll never be a guardian…OWWW” That had felt good, I made him fall with a roundhouse kick to the mouth. As he began to bleed Lissa ran over to him whispering “I warned you” Without another word I stood up, got up and slammed the door after me. I had no time for this crap of his not that I had time for many things to begin with. I walked and walked until I found a place near the courtyard, our school had a very pretty scenery if you thought about it. I sat on one of the tree stumps to cool off, I couldn’t go back to them not with feeling this sensitive. The trouble I would be in for punching Christian however the least of my worries. I must have sat there for I had no idea how long until I felt a movement after me. “Adrian, Christian I’m freakin warning you” I muttered as I turned half ready to slap them back into the academy walls and this time, make them be part of it. I looked up however to see Sora excuse me, princess Sora. “Princess I’m so sorry” I half stammered freaking out more then anything. So apparently my temper really was going to get me killed. “You saved my life” “I did my job” “is it true, what they say I mean…your allies” “my what allies?” “my sister and her friends” “uh yes…you mean…what I am…my true heritage” “You’re safe with me…your secret is….I promise what I know I will never tell another”

CHAPTER FIVE I looked into her eyes, from the lighting it looked like her eyes were hazel but that was a tricky thing because for all I knew she could have brown or green colored eyes. Hazel eyes normally looked like other stronger colors according to the laws of eyes not that I know crap about genetics. I took a deep breath as I made sure that no one and I mean absolutely no one would hear us. I nodded. “it is princess, I’m not…guardian not by birth” She nodded, didn’t scream, didn’t accuse she just nodded it looked to me like she understood. So I kept going. “I ran away from home when I was five, I don’t even know where home is anymore not to mention my parents, I expect they’re dead by now I would not be surprised” She and I looked at each other quietly for a moment letting myself just spit out what bits and pieces I knew, if any was hard. I had never told anyone like this, I barely had known her 24 hours. I kept going. “I had memories of when I was a little girl, don’t ask me how I remember this but when I was an infant, my parents lived in the home with a female guardian, I forget who she was now but I can see her clear as day in my mind…we were attacked by a pack of Strogoi not long before my fifth birthday, I saw my father literally pull my guardian into the line of attack, she was trying to defend me and apparently that wasn’t good enough for her…so I decided that I couldn’t stay with people that were like that…in the name of royalty and title they just let someone get killed, I mean its like slavery was back in session or something she did all she could to please them it wasn’t just the attack but I remember them yelling a lot, nothing she ever did satisfied them…so when I was five I decided, at a very young age that it wasn’t a safe place for me to be, so I ran…now I think about it I didn’t like their holyer then thou attitude” Sora gave me a nod of understanding and put something in front of me, it looked to be a bottle of water but smelling it I knew it to blood. I drank some because I could not afford to pass out in the sunlight since the shade was very little and my skin still felt the heat. “not all royals are like that” “I know princess but…I never wanted to be around my family again…but….whatever….” “Do you remember anything else? Because I have something… information that you might want to know” I looked up at her sitting up straight “information princess?” “its Sora, I’m like you I hate being treated like…well…that im a royal its not right what some of us do to our guardians and even allies…but yes, your explanation triggered a memory, there actually was a royal family that did this…now….this was long before they were born I guess…couple years…or I dunno how this works but I think you might be the sister of Avery Lazar”

CHAPTER SIX I looked up and my eyes widened in surprise. “Did you just say Avery Lazar, as in…the psycho spirit user?” Princess Sora gave me a small smile. “I heard what happened here two years back, she tried to compel three four people and it blew back up at her but…unfortunately…yes you are a Lazar..but don’t worry Lazar by blood and no other means, I can tell you right now none of them have risked their life to save a Dragomire” I smiled brightly so now I really did know where I was, I was a Lazar and unfortunate as that might have sounded I was glad of knowing where I finally came from. I looked at the princess and smiled. “Thank You, for everything….you saved my life…” The princess giggled, it was actually a happy giggle and I was surprised, it made her face light up even more when she laughed and she already looked pretty. As no one knew but my closest allies I was also a lesbian but oh well. I smiled and put my fist over my heart. I had read a book not that long ago about vamps, and it was nothing like Moroi and Strogoi it was interesting all the same. I gave her a salute and burst out laughing myself. “the pleasure’s all mine princess Dragomire you know the rules don’t you, they come first?” Sora finally bust out laughing we were both laughing and giggling. “oh yes, but technically guardian Posy…WE come first since as much of a guardian you know….” I smiled and threw my arms around her suddenly feeling the need for some sort of warmth and contact. Her skin was cool all Moroi skins were hell, so was mine which was why I had to use spirit to disguise me. The princess held me for what seemed like hours pulling my loose black strands of hair behind my ears. “You did well today guardian Posy….Josephine….Josy” she giggled in my ear and as we broke apart I had tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I stood up and reached out to her helping her up to her feet. As we walked back in St. Vlad’s with me trying to dry my tears and with her trying to stop laughing, I felt something between us…a bond, and I didn’t know it yet but this bond would end up coming in very handy.

CHAPTER SEVEN “There you are, where have you been? I’ve been looking for you all over the place and why are you out of that room the doctor told you not to leave” I groaned as I looked up to see Guardian Alberta Petrov. She was a nice lady she reminded me somewhat of Lenobia from my vampire book. Alberta meant well, she was firm and she was direct. But she wasn’t any good with horses or that was what I heard from some novice guardians. “it’s called taking a walk maybe you’ve heard of it” “And did I hear right you kicked a royal, Posy what oh what am I going to do with you?” “Actually Guardian Petrov, he was warned, fairly” Sora came in behind and stood next to me almost as if she was my guardian. She smile as she looked at the Captain of the guardians and said. “it seems that my sister Lissa has warned him but he was not listening therefore, he got what he deserved” What could Alberta say to that, yell and scream at her of course not. Shaking her head she sighed and said. “You have a meeting with some of the guardians and teachers…would you care to pick a time where you’ll actually be there?” That made me smirk. I was notorious for not showing up to meetings like that. What could I say, I couldn’t stand being in a room full of stuffy guardians who pointed out all your flaws and in that way I truly am a Lazar BUT, it was only because I couldn’t take meetings like that so I tried to drag it out as possible. “I will go with her to your meeting, if that is allowed that is” HUH? That made me completely freeze. I turned to Sora with my mouth half opened. I didn’t expect her to have said it, was she planning on telling my secret, I hoped to as they said in my book I hoped to the Goddess that she wasn’t. The princess however gave me a reassuring squeeze on my shoulders and I relaxed somehow knowing the meeting would go well. Again Alberta could say nothing. Royals weren’t really into the affairs of their guardians and this was an oddity however, she couldn’t very well say no either. So she consented. “Don’t worry, you’ll be as peachy as a sunny day when I’m done with them” she whispered to me as she pulled me gently away from Alberta promising her we’d both be there after meal.

Chapter Eight It turned out that the meeting just wasn’t with the guardians. However she managed it, princess Sora had managed to get the whole grew starting from the queen and ending with Dmitri over this was a bit awkward since I hadn’t been in the same room with these guys in two years. Back when Queen Tatiana had ruled. I sat down at one of the corner chairs, this meeting was about me but I normally didn’t like to be at the center of anything. I was the kind of kid who squeaked and squealed like a stuffed pig when I was called on in a classroom full of thirty plus kids. I tried to hide myself below the desk as I let everyone talk for awhile some people were coming still and I had no idea what the heck to do. I then felt a blast of air, it was not an artic blast where it was going to freeze over like an ice age in that room however, it was cold, cold enough to make me crawl out of that room. Surprisingly enough, I didn’t feel any wind after I sat down shivering on a chair besides a guardian that I couldn’t remember the name of. She was tall and a hot head but she wasn’t a red head. “now that you stopped hiding behind that desk, would you like coffee?” Alberta’s calm voice got me out of thinking about the artic blast that had just blasted me out of my hiding spot. I gratefully took the warm liquid shivering slightly. “First…we’re going to get what you did wrong out of the way…as we told you in 24 horus you managed to drag the queen and her guardians out of the court, you threw a royal, you went off on your own without a plan and you kicked another royal roundhouse style” I raised my hand to protest but a glare from the guardian next to me stopped me. She was like Neferete from my book, scary and charismatic. I put my hand down and went on again. “Now what you did right…despite everything else you did wrong today….you rescued princess Sora and for THAT you should be very proud of yourself…just next time let someone know…going without a plan and a backup is dangerous….especially at your instability” I bit my lip and kept my mouth shut as something was pushed into my hands I looked down to see a plate of pizza. Oh yeah right, they thought I was a guardian. I sighed as I nibbled on it. They were critiszing me and giving me food at the same time, was this thing poisoned? Someone must have read my mind because they laughed, turned out to be Adrian. “if Alberta wanted to poison you she would not do it in a room full of five Moroi including two DRagomires and a crap load of guardians” He had a point so I kept eating more. The idea was to conceal my secret. “We have kept you two years for your instability and emotional problems, you could not handle the trials….and your temper is just plain…bad” I knew that the first time I had been on trial, the task of guardian a Moroi student for a couple months, my partner had been Avery Lazar, unfortunately and that had not worked out quite as well, the second time I had done it was some Dashkov kid I could not remember but defended myself when she decided to try and burn me. “let me guess you’re gonna keep me here for a third year eh Alberta?” I laughed bitterly. A gentle hand on my shoulder made me turn around trying to grab her but the person took ahold of my hand. Sora stood behind me not saying a word her grip was firm but gentle and her eyes held compassion and understanding. I closed my eyes wiping the anger and bitterness away. I wanted to get out of here more then anything else. I wanted to be with Adrian and them all in court not in school. “As I was saying before I was RUDELY interrupted” Alberta took one of my favorite lines. I looked at her hopefully she’ll give me a way out of this damned school. I loved St. Vlad’s and her to pieces but I couldn’t do this anymore besides, it was already getting too risky. I was an oddball. “Princess Sora had requested you as her guardian….and we are willing to let you be in her service…” I could not help giving her a happy surprised smile. But she stopped me from talking. “IF and ONLY if you can prove two things….your temper has to be under control for the rest of this semester…that’s four months from now Josephine…its four months….get an attitude fine no more throwing chairs, no more throwing people for that matter and no more jumping on the desk and using the stairs as a battleground between you and Torra Correll. Tora was another guardian, a year younger then me but we always had issues she and I. We never stopped fighting and many places in St. Vlad’s have become our battlegrounds. “Second….since Princess Sora has requested it…you will do the trial with her….its four months…we will do it how we normally do teachers and staff will be disguised as a Strogoi and…you will have the job of guarding her…never mind your classes from now they are redundant…and I have heard that you got ahold of a silver stake somehow…I don’t know how but never you mind here….” She tossed me a wooden stake with a deadly accuracy and I jumped up from my chair to catch it. “it’s the third time Posy…get it right”

CHAPTER TEN As it was, I got to catch up on sleep and everything else I hadn’t had time for when I was in classes. Mind you I got attacked on a regular basis but it was not long before I figured out that Sora would fight by my side. I learned to trust her while protecting her and she could do her wind work while she was far away from the Strogoi/teachers/staff. None of them had put their heads together enough to know that she had specialized in wind and that was working to our advantage it also helped that it was March, still windy. A month went by until we were in April when the real big thing happened well big for St. Vlad’s anyway. It was announced one dinner that there would be a ball. “A ball, as in the Yule Ball?” “well not Yule but a ball none the less, Lissa wants it she thinks its too stuffy what with all the kids studying and getting ready for finals and what not…you can bring someone with you and anyone Moroi and guardians are allowed to come she wants this as kinda like a get together thing, anyone acting holyer then thou will be personally burnt to a crispy crisp chicken by me” “You know careful, people might think you’re pyro” I warned I looked at my charge who was listening to all this as a royal who actually had a title because they were related to the ruling queen, she had the opportunities to help move this little thing alone, there’d never been a ball at least nothing to this extremes. She smiled down at me while I sat in my chair wondering who I’d go with until Adrian made a surprising suggestion. “You want me to do what?” “Yes, a pretty guardian and her charge, no Strogoi attacks that day, Alberta promises” “I’m not sure I trust her on that promise” “if she attempts it I can do what we have been doing, blast her to the north pole” concluded princess Sora I busted out laughing when I pictured that in my mind, Alberta flying out of her chair out of the academy, out of the state and country and being tossed all the way to the north pole. I looked up at Sora and said. “I’d love to go, not as your date that’s not proper…but I would love to keep watch over you while you dance with Lord Ivashkov” I mocked Adrian with the word lord but he mocked me anyway so that was a fair deal right? I shook my head didn’t guys ever grow up? In the middle of my head shaking, the princess caught me by my shoulders lightly. “But you could protect me better if you went with me” I looked into her eyes, not sure of what to make it. I couldn’t say no but this would out us both as les weather she was one or not. “But your re….” She cut me off with a hand. “Really don’t matter” I looked into her eyes, holding her gaze with my brown eyes. My eyes were supposed to be black but black/brown was all the same difference to me. At last after many encouraging nod from the others, I nodded. “I’ll protect you” I leaned back linking my arm with her, she now felt to me as though she and I had known each other all our lives. “Yes and you’ll have fun” I nodded as I looked at Sora knowing that I could never completely let loose but feeling glad all the same. “They come first” I mumbled before yawning and falling asleep right there.

CHAPTER ELEVEN The idea of the ball, at the end of the semester was not a new concept, regular humans had it all the time but it was an idea that was not done often when you were talking about St. Vlad’s and I had never been anyone’s date before, my sexuality had remained a secret the only ones that knew were those closest to me and they’d never tell. Bonded with the secrecy of my sexuality they had become dear friends to me and in one sense had become family. I spent the next several weeks thinking about the ball, I couldn’t dance to save my life and I was not fond of loud music but good food and good company was what I enjoyed. Even the feeders would get to enjoy the music, something they were not accustomed too, unless they were so far gone from the bites that they couldn’t but that in St. Vlad’s was very rare. As far as what I would wear, I thought I Was going to wear jeans and shirt you know like a normal day but of course Lissa and even Adrian agreed and trust me he’s not the ballroom dancer type, that you are supposed to wear a dress. I tried to fight back that I didn’t have any but of course Lissa being who she was, had a royal dress maker make it for me, it was sapphire blue with white trims and it was very good actually I had a necklace to match although I had never told anyone I was pagan. Most Moroi were not although they used magic when they wielded their elements. While I was going around trying to get used to the idea of going to a dance my first ever one mind you, I worked on my trials kicking guardian asses and some of them were pretty touch. There had been one Thursday where six of them had decided to tag team right in front of the nurse’s office. I had been a bit groggy because of my late night horror movie marathon but that did not need saying. Nonetheless, I beat them all with some help from Christian who actually managed to burn a guardian’s hand. “payback’s a bitch Stan” I laughed as I pulled away with Adrian and Sora pulling Christian with me as well “only you have the audacity” I muttered as I stifled another fit of giggles. “Yep and hey, they never said you could not have help if your Moroi specialized” “Except you aint my Moroi” “I didn’t know aint was a word, my my are we going back to new York?” “don’t make me stake your butt” “Then you lose your chance of being a guardian and get sent to prison, your choice” I turned ready to kick Christian as I had done before. “POSY OH NO YOU DON’T” The last thing that happened before I lost consciousness was me being tackled by someone and new both rolled until we reached the stairs after that it was nothing but darkens.
