Ember nodded. "Well I don't really blame you. She's a random girl you had never seen before. She told me she had a thing with Iggy when she was like 13 and he was 15. She died and then randomly appeared in New York one day."

Ember nodded. "Yeah. She pretty much told me her whole story when I was just making small talk. But I wouldn't worry. You know Iggy and you know how much he loves you. It will be okay."

"Okay!" Ember said with a smile. She walked with her back to the penthouse to get ready.
Iggy sat with Ella in her moms office.
"The surgery will be very short and simple. There is a cloudy substance that has been blocking your eyes. I found a way to remove it and replace it with something that will help you see. You will probably need to wear glasses or contacts afterwards because your vision will need time to recover." Dr. Martinez said.
Iggy nodded. "I want to do this. I want to be able to have a future and not worry about not being able to see."
"Alright well sigh here and we will get you started right away." She said.
Iggy signed the paper and Ella helped her mom prep him for surgery.

Aven slipped into a green dress and checked herself in the mirror. "Up or down Em?" she asked holding her hair up for a moment.

"It looks great!" Ember said with a smile. She slipped on a light pink dress and curled her hair.
Later, Iggy finished up with the treatment. He had to leave patches over his eyes for a little while, but dr. Martinez said he would be able to take them off before the dinner. Ella walked him back to the penthouse so he could get ready.

"Have fun at your rehearsal dinner." Ella said to Iggy. "Call me when you take off the bandages and let me know how your eyes are." Ella hugged him and glanced at Aven before she headed out.
Iggy heard Aven walking to the mantle. "Hey Aven! The surgery went great! I think."

"I should probably go change before we head down to the rehearsal dinner." He said heading to his room.
