Lissa walked along central park, being a Moroi (royal, good vampire) she couldn't be out for long but she could be here for a little while. The things at this new school was getting to her, people and being she's never met before. St. Vlad's was supposed to protect you from STrogoi, the evil guardians but they had never prepared you for this, what on earth had they been thinking sending her alone? and where on earth was Rose and Christian? she was halfway ready to go back and get them herself or run away with them...again.

Central park was surrounded by New York city-life. It was like an escape from all the business. Max sat on a bench next to a huge oak tree. Here she was far from the School she had been dreading for many numerous years. The School may have been far, but she still felt uneasy. She was used to being on edge all her life. Max sighed and waited for something unforseen to happen.

Lissa sensed someone else, they were not either Strogoi or Moroi, either would not be out here besides, this was the Moroi's night and sunny as anything. As she walked more closer she saw an oak tree and went over to it, sitting down gingerly she pulled her knees up to her and just started to think, she needed to calm down before something happened. She looked at the spirit ring that Oksana had given her via Rose and she wondered if it really would help her here.

Max looked over at the teen. A blonde girl. Max could tell she wasnt sent here to hurt Max. Bird girl slouched on her bench. Her wings were hidden underneath her jacket. They ached to strech out and glide. She knew that would give the people of New York a heart attack. She wished the rest of her flock was here, or maybe even Ella, her half-sister.

Before anyone could say anything else, a demon appeared. Lissa had no idea how she knew it was what it was but it looked like a demon or maybe a warlock, she remembered stories she had heard from books, she loved to read but never in her wildest imaginations would she have thought they were real. Using Spirit she created a barrier around herself thanks to Adrian she had learned. But she wondered how to kill it. She really wished Christian was around, he could burn it to smithereens but then again not without all of New York wondering what the heck had just happened.
