((For Chloe and Tori and Stevie Rae. Other's can join in later))
Chloe stood on the Brooklyn Bridge staring into the waters below. A ghost was next to her, trying to get her attention, trying to scare her. It had been chasing her for days now. She was at the end of her rope, she didn't want to deal with it anymore. She just wanted it to end. Grabbing onto the railing she pulled herself up and over the safety and stared at the water that was no longer barred from her.
Tori couldn't see the ghosts but she knew the signs when she saw one. She had been with Chloe enough now. She waved her hand and made an invisible barrier between Chloe and the waters and disappeared into a swirl of light, appearing right in front of her.
"Chloe...listen...this ghost or whatever the thingy is....it can't hurt you...sure it can scare the living daylights outta you...but it can't hurt you not physically anyway and not magically either if I can help it" her tone was for once, gentle.
"T-t-tori," Chloe stammered looking around, "Y-you're going to get caught if you keep using magic like that. I...I know they c-c-c-can't hurt me...but I'm getting tired of it." She rubbed at the back of her head and sighed.
Tori shook her head. "Well, I'm not losing you. We can't fight the Edison group. In case you haven't noticed the only reason I'm not dead by Derrick is because of you...and if you die on my watch...on anyone's watch...he's going to blame me..."
Tori groaned inwardly. She wasn't the one for affection having grown up with Diane Enwright, she shook her head. "No, you need to help us...help me...Chloe..." she caught herself and put all the sincerity in her voice that she could. "I need you, I care about you....I'm not my mother...I've proven that...besides, we're in more trouble than we thought"
She closed her eyes and squeezed her eyes shut. This simple gesture from Chloe meant a lot. She turned her face away at least so that she could not be accused of crying and said in a shaky voice. "We can do this but we need each other....I can't do this alone...mu mother's gotten stronger she's completely turned Caroline"
"Don't worry about it Tori...we've got a lot on our side. Just so you know...even if I had jumped I wouldn't have died. Like I said...I really might have screwed things up, for everyone." She rubbed at her throat and glanced down at her sharpened nails. She wasn't human anymore.
"listen to me...what you are...is irrelevent human, necromancer, nymph, a high priestess of whoever Goddess or God I really don't give a crap..." she closed her eyes. She felt her strength fade from her, suddenly she was tired. She fell back almost falling. "Chloe" she reached out to take her hand.
