((I wrote this about Addie and her fiancé. It's sad, just to warn you. I guess this is mainly for Chloe since Seth and Addie are talking. Haha I got bored and wanted to write this. Enjoy!))
December 31st was the most amazing day of my life. It was new years eve of course, but that night my whole life changed.
He was with me. Thomas Kearman. The most amazing man I had ever met.
We met when I was 18. A freshman at NYU. He was a junior there at the time. We fell head over heels for each other. We were inseparable. We were soul mates.
That night, he led me to a gazebo in central park. It was snowing lightly. We were at the new years rockin eve party in times square, but he wanted to go somewhere quiet with me. I was perfectly fine with that of course.
"it's freezing out here." I said with a small laugh.
He smiled at me and put his arm around my waist pulling me close to him as we walked.
I was a sophomore now and he was a senior. He had a stable job and was ready to graduate and start his life. Me, I was studying photography. I wanted to open my own photography business after college.
We got to the gazebo and we walked inside.
"this is pretty." I said looking at the icy garden surrounding it.
"I thought you'd like it. It's a good place to take pictures." he said.
I smiled and nodded kissing him lightly.
He kissed me back softly and pulled me close to him before pulling back. "I love you Addie." he whispered.
"I love you too Thomas." I said smiling at him.
"good. Because I want you to spend the rest of your life with me." he said looking at me.
I looked up at him. Was this for real?
He reached in his coat pocket and pulled out a little box. I gasped as he got down on one knee and opened it revealing a beautiful, yet simple diamond ring.
"I fell for you so fast, and I want you to be by my side for the rest of my life. Adelia Hope Odair, will you marry me?"
I stared down at him unsure of what to say. A big smile spread across my face and I nodded. "yes. Yes, thomas yes!" I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He smiled and stood up wrapping his arms around me.
I pulled back and he took my hand and slid the ring on my finger. I kissed him and smiled.
He smiled and kissed me back before holding my hand. "come on. Let's go back to times square."

Six months later
That night back in December was perfect. The next six months that followed that were perfect. But all good things must come to an end.
We were going to get married in two months. I was so ready and so excited. My dress was perfect, the band for the wedding was perfect, the catering was perfect, and my fiancé was perfect.
June 18th was the day everything changed.
I called Thomas while he was driving back to the city. He had to leave for the weekend for his job.
"hey babe everything okay?" he said when he answered the phone.
"yeah everything's fine. I just wanted to see when you were going to get back." I said.
"I'll be home in 10 minutes." he said.
"good! I missed you." I said with a smile.
"I missed you too Adds. I'll see you soon okay?"
"alright. I love you." I said.
"I lo-" his words were interrupted by the sound of a loud crash. The line suddenly went dead.
No. That didnt happen. It wasn't a car crash. No. He was okay. Not dead. No.
I ran out of the apartment and down the street. I wasn't sure where he was but I had to find him.
I followed the sound of sirens that blared through the city. I got a cab and went to the accident site.
Tears ran down my face when I saw what happened. His car was unrecognizable. There was blood and glass everywhere.
"where is he?" I asked the nearest paramedic. He pointed to the stretcher where a bunch of other paramedics were tending to someone. I ran over and made my way through.
"Thomas? Thomas can you hear me?" I yelled.
His eyes were closed and his face and body were bloody and bruised.
"please answer me!" I said grabbing his hand and holding it tightly. "please please thomas! Don't leave me! Don't do this to me!" I screamed.
He still didn't answer or budge or anything.
"we need to get him to the hospital." the paramedic said as they put the stretcher in the ambulance.
I refused to let go of his hand and got in the ambulance as well. I smoothed his hair back from his face as the paramedics checked his pulse and tried to bring him back.
Everything was a blur. Eventually we were in the hospital. He had so many tubes in and an iv. The beeps were very slow. I was losing him.
"Thomas please...." I said quietly. I rested my head on the side of his bed and didn't let go of his hand.
This was all my fault. I just had to talk to him on the phone. I distracted him. If I hadn't called he could of payed attention to driving.
Time passed and eventually the machine stopped beeping. He was gone. Forever.
I smoothed his hair back again and kissed his forehead as tears ran down my cheeks. "I love you Thomas. I'm so sorry."
A few days later there was a funeral. My whole family and his whole family was there, and some of our friends were there. I watched as they lowered his coffin in the ground. I threw a rose down before the gravediggers covered it up.
After he was buried, I sat there for a long time unsure of what to do. I was so lost now. Things were supposed to be perfect. Our wedding was coming up, but it was never going to happen now. I lost the most amazing person in my life.
I stared at the ring on my finger. I never wanted to take it off. I still wanted to believe we were going to be married soon. We were going to have kids. He wanted to have a son named Cody. We were going to get a house in north Carolina in a quiet town once I was out of college. We were going to go to Fiji for our honey moon. Our lives were going to be perfect.
But now that was over.
